I grew up in Fort Collins and in Poudre School District, so I am happy to be returning after years outside Colorado and overseas to the beautiful Front Range. My wife and I have three young children, two girls and a boy, who keep us very busy at home! I have spent time overseas teaching in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Brazil, and my family loves to travel every chance we get. I studied at the University of Northern Colorado (dual B.A.), California State University-Northridge (M.A.), the University of Exeter-UK (M.Ed), and CalStateTEACH, and have taught all levels from elementary through university in my time as an educator. I love sports, the outdoors, cooking, and reading great books. It is exciting to be here at Boltz teaching Language Arts and working with curious learners and inspiring educators every day.
